SAUDI NATIONAL DAY:
To celebrate Saudi National Day and the future of the country, Arab News collaborated with illustrator Steve Scot to create a cover wrap and souvenir edition. The cover wrap illustrated how a Saudi city might look in 2030 - with future tech, transport, renewable energy and even robots serving traditional Arabic coffee. This linked to the content centre piece which was a video telling a brief history of Saudi followed by the future of the country complimenting the Crown Prince's 2030 plan. We decided VO would give the video a strong voice and also add to the rhythm of the narrative. The video celebrated the past and showcased the incredibly, exciting future ahead. We used the video as a showpiece to launch the 2030 channel on the Arab News website.
