During my time at the Telegraph, we successfully grew are audiences through the Food and Drink sections of the paper. As an example, we used the opportunity to produce beautifully crafted food styling to push photography to a higher level and we received positive reader feedback, particularly around our food and drink specials and best buy guides.

We also utilised short, simple animated GIFs to tease content in advance across social media platforms.
