ARAB NEWS: JAPAN
With stronger links being forged between Japan and Saudi Arabia and Japan playing a bigger role in the Middle East, Arab News launched a Japan edition to deliver news and content in both Japanese and English. We collaborated with a well known manga artist to create immediate engagement and excitement and Manga legend Go Nagai, creator of Grendizer, was commissioned to create the new Arab News Japan logo artwork.
A launch event was held in Tokyo, aligning with the emperor's coronation, and the Japanese Defense Minister was the guest of honour. Adverts were created to explain the strong links between Japan and KSA. Video, website and print pages were published. We commissioned a YouGov study in to how Arabs view Japan and created graphics, printed this as a report and published the findings.
